Carbomer, Glycerin, Triethanolamine, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, and Phenoxyethanol don’t sound quite as nice as ingredients we know and love like “aloe vera”, do they? These ingredients are easy to read about on Google, and are all commonly used for the nuts and bolts of topical formulation. They are used for binding, buffering, balancing pH, and other boring stuff like that.
